Finding Discord Servers to Join

Joining a discord server is easy on both the web app and desktop app - simply click on the plus sign symbol (the explore button) and search for one by name.
Note that in order to gain entry to a private server, an invite link from an existing member must be obtained in order to join it.

Discord offers gaming servers and communities for gamers of all types to find an ideal server or community to join. Servers are organized into channels which may feature text or voice chat and be public or private depending on your preference.

Music Servers
Discord is an invaluable platform for musicians looking to share video content and start group conversations that engage their fans. They can use it as a promotional tool for concerts and merchandise sales; Discord's features make sharing links with fans simple; they can even use livestreaming sessions as an avenue for teasers of new songs!
There are various music servers you can join, such as r/WeAreTheMusicMakers, Music Production and Feedback. These communities don't cater specifically to any skill levels or musical genre; instead they provide topics and topics of discussion related to creating music.
To join a server, navigate the Discord desktop app and find its Add a Server section. Choose plus-shaped icon and paste server invite link into text field. Alternatively, mobile users may join servers temporarily by clicking an invite link and choosing Join Server option; but for greater security it's best to create an account in order to maintain safety for data security purposes.
